MELISSA DOLBY

Principal - ARAD RTS CBTS | ISTD | IDTA | Acrobatic Arts | Rambert Grades

Melissa is an accomplished and passionate dance teacher with international experience. She is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) having successfully completed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies. She is also a registered teacher with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA), Rambert Grades and Acrobatic Arts, and is certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), Alixa Flexibility, Pilates and Pound®.

 

Melissa studied Ballet, Contemporary and Spanish dance at the National School of the Arts in Johannesburg, South Africa and completed her Advanced examinations in Ballet and Spanish dance. She emigrated from South Africa to the UK in 2018, and this fresh start reignited her passion for dance and enabled her to return to teaching after spending many years in the corporate environment where she worked as a Learning Consultant, Instructional Designer and Facilitator.

 

This vast practical experience and understanding of learning principles combined with her dance experience and qualifications enables Melissa to safely, effectively and creatively teach students of all ages and abilities, inspiring the next generation of dancers, and enabling them to progress to the highest standards attainable.

KAYLEIGH WILSON

Dance Teacher - RAD RTS CBTS | IDTA | Acrobatic Arts

Kayleigh is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) having successfully completed the Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies, and is also a registered teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) and Acrobatic Arts.

 

She started dancing at the age of three in Deal, Kent, working her way through her RAD and ISTD dance exams. She attended Millennium Performing Arts College on a three year scholarship, graduating with a National Diploma in Professional Musical Theatre. After graduating in 2011, Kayleigh went on to perform in Ballet and Irish dancing shows, as well as Christmas pantomimes up and down the country.

 

In 2014, Kayleigh started working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as a performer and later took on the role of Dance Captain.

 

Kayleigh joined P3 Dance Academy in 2021 where she teaches Ballet, Tap, Jazz, AcroDance and many of our dance workshops.

Zara Hammond

Trainee Teacher / Teaching Assistant

Zara started dancing when she was seven years old, doing ballet and tap. She is currently studying RAD syllabus Ballet at Vocational level, and ISTD Tap and Jazz at P3 Dance Academy. She studied GCSE Dance and is currently in her final year of A-levels studying Dance at Brockhill  Performing Arts College.

 

Zara loves working with children and assists with many of our Ballet and AcroDance classes. She will be doing the Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet) qualification through the RAD in 2026-27, and is excited to begin her journey towards becoming a qualified teacher.

KATIE ARNOLD

Teaching Assistant

Katie is a passionate dancer who has been dancing since she was three years old. She is currently studying RAD syllabus Ballet at Vocational level, Rambert Contemporary and AcroDance at P3 Dance Academy. She also studies GCSE dance at the Folkestone School for Girls which covers many different dance styles.

 

Katie assists with many of our Ballet, AcroDance and "Dance to your Own Tune" classes and is hoping to expand her dancing and teaching experience even further. In the future she wants to study dance at A-level and University, so that she can pursue a career as a professional dancer.

HARRIET HARGREAVES

Guest Dance Teacher

Harriet is an experienced Dance Teacher and active professional performer with a passion for musical theatre. She graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) Performance in Dance and Musical Theatre from Performance Preparation Academy (PPA), Guildford in 2022 and has lots of experience teaching children and adult dance classes.


She has been dancing since the age of two where she began her performing journey in baby ballet and tap classes. She then went on to take her examinations in ballet, tap and modern jazz all the way up to advanced levels. Alongside this she also trained as a competitive gymnast.

Since graduating, she has performed in music videos, pantomimes and musical theatre concerts in London, and she regularly takes classes at the prestigious Pineapple Dance Studios in London,  ensuring her knowledge and technique is kept fresh and reflective of the current dance industry.

​

Harriet joined P3 Dance Academy in June 2024 as a guest teacher, where she teaches Dance Workshops, and assists with class cover when required.
